Levels System
From GEWar Manual
The levels system is a new feature designed to stop a single player dominating the game from the begining. There are 2 levels. Every player starts at level 1.
You can see the level you are playing on when you open the Your Account page.
Level 1 - "Newbie Land"
This level is there to learn the basics of how to play GEWar without being bullied by the experienced players. When you are new you can try out all features, get used to the features, settings etc.
Restrictions there:
- You cannot invest in the stockmarket.
- You have fish, oil and cotton as resources.
When you learned the game principles and start to feel bored you are asked to enter "Real World":
You will need to abandon all your cities and leave your alliance. Once you have done that go to Manage Your Account and there will be a button to upgrade. Once you are on the next level you will need to redownload the Cities, Army, and Home base KMZ files.
You won't take anything with you when you enter next level, you will receive new startup geos and resources.
The staff will not tolerate players who hang around on Level 1 longer than needed. If that happens the staff will move you up by force.
Level 2 - "The Real World"
This is the main Level of GEWar.
What is new here:
- You can invest in the stockmarket.
- You have fish, oil, cotton, uranium and diamond as resources.
- You can build yourself nukes or buy them on the market.
In order to launch a nuke you will need to build a Nuke silo in a city which costs 500 Geos. Once you build the Nuke silo you will need to load the nuke before you can launch. When you launch the nuke it will travel at a much faster rate than an army, but it will not be instantaneous as in the current version of GEWar.
Note: Internal number of this level is 3 because there were three levels in original, level 2 is disabled.
